KANDINSKY Inspired Beaded Bracelet Bohemian Style Mixed Gemstones

KANDINSKY Inspired Beaded Bracelet Bohemian Style Mixed Gemstones

$175

This one-of-a-kind bracelet is a radiant mosaic of rare gems and traditional artistry. Anchored by an antique Blue Annular Wound Dogon bead affectionately known as a “Dutch Donut” this bracelet is designed to be both meditative and mesmerizing. Slide the ancient bead along its smaller neighbors to activate the calming, tactile experience.

The piece features a symphony of AAA-grade gemstones and antique tribal beads, each selected for color, shape, and energy. From the deep crimson of German-cut Mozambique Garnet to raw turquoise discs and the rich cobalt of Lapis Lazuli squares, every element tells a story. Hand-formed beads from across Africa including terracotta Bauxite, white Green-Hearts, and Abyssinian glass add depth and dimension. Finished with a Sterling Silver hand-stamped paillette for authenticity.

This bracelet was inspired by the vibrant, unexpected color juxtapositions in a Kandinsky painting, where structure meets spontaneity, and every hue feels like a deliberate note in a visual symphony. The palette came together like brushstrokes, each bead a gesture of rhythm, contrast, and emotion. This is a keepsake crafted in reverence to the earth’s minerals and the hands that shaped them.

Each Alexandria Black piece is a reverent expression of natural history and cultural legacy crafted from gemstones, crystals, fine metals, leather, feathers, bark, and antique textiles. Inspired by the primitive elegance of tribal adornment, ceremonial tools, ancient armor, and sacred ritual objects, these accessories carry the essence of protection, identity, and memory.

My creative process is rooted in an ethnological admiration for global cultures, and deeply informed by the textures of pottery, textiles, and natural materials. Fragrance is part of that ritual; each piece is accompanied by a seasonal aromatherapy blend, a sensory gift to ground your experience. Each smaller jewelry and accessory item is securely shipped within the Alexandria Black keepsake satchel - crafted entirely from repurposed materials like antique Metropolitan Opera programs, modern design drawings, Indian saris, past-season design swatches, and lighting gels.

Influenced daily by music, architecture, nature, and the magic of art; these designs are both personal and timeless. They are heirlooms in motion, meant to be worn with intention and passed on with love.
