PIPER No. 012
The Royal Hunt.
The piper is not merely worn it’s composed. A symphonic garment in three movements: overskirt, cape, and strapless overdress. Designed to shift with you, your rhythm, your ritual, your reinvention. This metamorphic silhouette is part sculpture, part story.
One side of this regal Piper features a remarkable narrative textile: a vivid ruby red scene of Persian court life and hunting escapades. Filled with opulent riders, archers, birds, leopards, and courtly lovers nestled among lush florals and sweeping trees. The reverse is no less spectacular: a richly ornate golden ochre and garnet jacquard with a timeless brocade motif that nods to European aristocracy and 18th-century upholstery grandeur.
Hand-stitched to accentuate the charm of the salvaged selvedge, this piece also flaunts a trail of decorative numerical printing, a remnant of its former life as a designer remnant. Black grosgrain ribbons allow for graceful adjustability, and subtle variations in length and styling depending on how it’s tied.
Wear it as a cape to showcase the brocade side over your shoulders, or tie it as a skirt to let the Persian tableau sweep across your silhouette. Pair it with a minimal black base or your most maximalist layers, it’s surprisingly versatile. Piper No. 012 balances storytelling and stateliness, offering a wearable relic from multiple worlds.
