bohemian meets tribal warrior
This design beams with:
• Kuchi tribal rounded shape hollow charms; rare antiquities app. 60-80 years old from the East. The metal used is typically called German Silver (a mixture of metal alloys). Jewelry was part of the Turkmen tribe women's dowry. These antiquities worn by nomadic women living in the mountains, possibly Bedouin people. Embellished jewelry was worn to define the prominence of these tribal women and or family.

  • The charms are carefully chosen and repurposed used for their antiquity and craftsmanship of their makers. Please note minor flaws or imperfections may appear within these handcrafted beads or inclusions within the natural, raw gems. It's one aspect of their inherent beauty.

Every design is accompanied by a digital file that encompasses history, scientific details, and the rumored metaphysical healing qualities inherent to the metals, gems & beads on your piece.

Unique gift packaging! Most accessory and jewelry items are shipped securely inside our signature, keepsake storage satchel that is made with inimitable, repurposed materials. The current is an amalgamation of antique designer drawings, antique Indian sari, repurposed past season interior design fabric swatch books & colorful transparent lighting gels. This satchel will help protect your bbb design from damaging heat and light.

Inspiration for this and much of my work is generated from an ethnological appreciation of different cultures. My design esthetic is influenced by primitive tribal jewelry and artifacts' as tiles, pottery, textiles, garments, and the colors and hues within all of them.

I relish the ornate details within ancient weaponry and armor and am fortified by history of all genres. I find foods and herbs from different lifestyles throughout the world endlessly stimulating. I'm encouraged everyday by family, music, architecture, nature, and the ecosystems within.

One of my favorite things to do is to go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC with my amazing son. He now has a love and fondness for the museum experience that is growing close to his mom's.
