• Authenticated with a circular, hand-stamped sterling silver paillette.

Conflict-free and refugee sourced, these beautiful pendant coins are juxtaposed against the trifecta or chi of gently colored, rare, pastel colored disks in the precious Citrine, Amethyst, and Prenite gemstones. Combined with sparkling Pyrite beads and sterling silver chain and findings cascading into a rare, double-coin dangle.
The antique coins date from the 1950's-90's, each hand forged with a unique, decorative bail. These beautifully decorative coins come from the Kuchi people, a nomadic group of Pashtun people from Afghanistan. Kuchi means migration, they are nomadic, traveling, tribal people.
Jewelry was part of the tribal women's dowry. These antiquities were worn by nomadic women living in the mountains, possibly Bedouin people. Embellished jewelry and clothing were worn to define the prominence of these tribal women and or family.
The Noble contains incredibly vibrant gems; shiny and polished and others classic, weathered and rutty from time. All bathed in rich jeweled tones colored from the earth. I've incorporated the seductively hued stones with beads of the finest variety. The beads are carefully chosen for their antiquity and craftsmanship of their makers. Please note minor flaws or imperfections may appear within these handcrafted beads or inclusions within the natural, raw gems. It's one aspect of their inherent beauty.
